Engineered Wood Products Designer/Technical Support
Description
Working knowledge of structural engineering principles required based on formal training or practical experience. Job function requires the ability to provide direct technical support to retail lumber dealers, salespeople and contractors from start to finish, i.e., purchasing, sales, quoting and design work. Candidate must be able to read blueprints, design EWP applications and produce take-offs with quotations. The ability to operate CAD will be considered an advantage.
Experience:
- AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)
- estimating: 1 year (Preferred)
- lumber/building: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:
- Associate (Preferred)
Ability to relocate to Nashville, TN before starting work (Required)
