Home Furniture Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Home Hardware is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for a full-time permanent position at the Home Furniture Store, located in St. Jacobs, ON.
Responsible for accurate and timely coordination and management of inventory.
Coordinate Dealer shipments and receive product at Elmira Dealer Support Centre; unloading and loading of trucks.
Transfer product daily to/from Elmira/St. Jacobs Dealer Support Centres and the St. Jacobs’ Furniture Store.
Coordinate and track Dealer and customer returns and claims.
Work with the Delivery Coordinator for pick-up and/or delivery of customer orders.
Assist with deliveries when required.
Assist with cycle counting and physical inventory counts.
Other duties as assigned by Furniture Store Manager.
Valid class G Driver’s license and good driving record (driver's abstract required).
Physical ability and technique for heavy lifting and moving large items.
Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and a friendly helpful attitude.
General computer skills (MS Office i.e. Word, Outlook)
Accuracy and attention to detail; organization, prioritization and time management skills.
Must be willing to be trained on powered lift equipment.
Willingness to work weekends and extra hours when required.
Please be advised that this position will be required to work regular hours of Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 5:30PM, Saturday's as required.
