Optimizing eCommerce Growth through Strategy, Collaboration and Data
As an eCommerce Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our online retail operation, driving growth through strategic site merchandising, personalization, and promotional activations while optimizing the digital customer experience. Led by the Director, Omni- Channel Marketing this opportunity will suit someone has a passion for digital innovation and a commitment to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

- Optimize website merchandising strategies based on historical performance, competitive research, and emerging online trends to maximize conversions. Use site heatmapping, consumer analytics, and SEO insights to identify performance gaps and adjust strategies for optimal results.
- In collaboration with Merchandise and Marketing teams, lead the ecommerce category strategy, sales, and conversion growth as it relates to all category performance.
- Lead and empower the eCommerce team in defining strategic goals, KPIs, and performance metrics, fostering strong cross-departmental collaboration. Drive consumer engagement by optimizing conversion funnels, mapping out the consumer journey, and utilizing SEO strategies to boost organic traffic at every touchpoint.
- Work with cross-functional marketing teams to understand brand targeting and positioning, building consumer segmentation that extends reach and drives engagement through organic search optimization and paid media strategies.
- Plan cross-functional marketing calendars uniting consumer needs, category growth initiatives, and supplier opportunities for maximum conversion. Work in coordination with marketing channel owners and site merchandisers to optimize content and engagement, ensuring alignment with search visibility and ranking to drive traffic and sales.
- Collaborate with the Merchandise, Promotions, and cross-functional Marketing teams to facilitate site-wide promotional events and build brand assets to maximize exposure and drive sales. Analyze online event performance and provide stakeholders with comprehensive insights.
- Plan, prepare and execute regional homepage variations to serve up relevant consumer messaging based on seasonal and situational needs providing a personalized consumer experience.
- Work with Front-End Designer to ensure the website is strategically merchandised with compelling content to drive consumer engagement and enforces our brand.
- Provide leadership, motivation, guidance, and support to the eCommerce site merchandising team, ensuring optimal site plans, productivity, and workflows. Foster an inclusive environment while promoting a data-driven, SEO-focused mindset across all site initiatives to continuously enhance performance.
We’re looking for:
- Diploma in Marketing, Business or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with 1-2 years of leadership experience.
- Experience with personalization technologies, A/B testing, and customer journey optimization.
- Proficient in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Kibo, Shopify, Magento, or similar), web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.), and performance tracking tools.
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
- A passion for digital innovation and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
- Strong understanding of in-store shopping experience in an omni-channel retail environment.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to meet multiple competing deadlines.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
