Senior Systems Analyst
Home Hardware is looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join our IT Business Solutions team. Reporting to the Manager, IT Business Solutions, you would be responsible for process design/modeling, information design/modeling, documenting changes to the business architecture, requirement analysis and working with Developers to deliver strong solutions to the stakeholders.

What you’ll do:
- Providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other team members. Assign tasks based on skills and individual capabilities.
- Present design considerations to software architects and developers who transform the business requirements into functioning code.
- Work in an agile/scrum or waterfall environment and/or support environment with other Information Technology team members, vendors, and business partners.
- Develop specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts for technical team members to follow.
- The primary deliverable is the Logical and Physical Solution Architecture along with supporting documents such as project estimates. This involves working with Enterprise and Technical Architecture to understand the potential solutions to meet the business needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of how Home Hardware’s legacy systems work, integrate, and interact with each other.
- Other responsibilities may include selecting/procuring services and software from vendors, configuring ‘Off the Shelf’ solutions including interaction with vendors, as well as support the project team members through the development and implementation stage of projects or support.
- Must meet deadlines with a high level of quality, while adhering to architectural principles and following defined processes.
- Design solutions based on business requirements.
- Lead implementation, coordinate testing and observe initiation of the system to validate performance.
What we’re looking for:
- College Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other technically relevant degree, or equivalent working experience.
- Minimum 8–10 years of Systems Analysis experience, providing design, solutioning and support in a structured systems development environment.
- Knowledge of relational databases; experience with Oracle, Azure and Microsoft tech stack is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of ITIL or Software Development best practices and processes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and people skills.
- Must have initiative, be results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- May be required to work irregular hours to support the applications or to meet deadlines.
