Join our Home Hardware Team as an HR Projects Coordinator at our Dealer Support Centre located in St. Jacobs, Ontario. In this role you will provide project coordination support to critical HR programs and projects, engaging multiple internal stakeholders in HR as well as business teams in an organized systematic fashion. Programs and projects will range from managing COVID-19 protocols, supporting Return to Office, facilitating organizational design processes with HR Business Partners, and Health & Safety initiatives.  

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Coordinate and plan Human Resources and Health & Safety projects in partnership with HR Leaders and stakeholders.

Create and maintain project frameworks, plans and trackers including timelines and charters to track progress and quality of work being completed on a regular basis.

Design and manage processes, materials and org charts supporting organizational design initiatives in partnership with HR Business Partners, facilitating the preparation and execution of the org design process.

Apply change management frameworks and approaches to all projects and programs, ensuring audience needs are included and reviewed.

Provide regular updates to HR Leaders and stakeholders by consistently engaging and informing them throughout the project, managing critical information in a meaningful way.

Interact and communicate with other cross-functional departments within HR and the business, including but not limited to Total Rewards and Talent Management.

Act as the central point of contact for all assigned HR project related activity. Respond quickly to all queries or feedback.

Escalate risks and issues to the Director, HR that will negatively impact projects, and facilitate discussions on problem solving and decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1-2 years project coordination experience including process mapping and tracking.

Human Resources/Health & Safety experience would be considered an asset.

Strong understanding of organizational structures, designs, and stakeholder relationships.

Retail / Store Merchandising experience preferred.

Solutions oriented attitude with change management approach.

Detail oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities to maintain deadlines.

Ability to think logically, critically and analytically.

Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Ability to present and interpret information to promote action and decision making.
