We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable IT Professional to join our Business Solutions team.This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT Business Solutions team to ensure that business applications are aligned with business processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Manage all functional configuration components of a solution, and work as an expert in 1-2 products while being a knowledge source on other solutions depending on complexity.

Work with Solution Owners to create product road maps and to ensure products/solutions meet business needs and that solutions are sustainable.

Work with stakeholders and vendors to develop, define, implement, and validate product workflows and definite both functional and technical integration needs along with ongoing functional support.

Be involved with all aspects of project development including initiation, requirements, design, testing through to deployment and warranty.  Will also be involved in post project support.

Assign tasks to other business/functional analysts and provide leadership and mentoring.

Facilitate workshops for the design and modeling of all business architecture elements.

Present business workflow and configuration design to business audiences.

Manage and resolve conflicts in the design and configuration of business processes, information, roles, and other elements of the business solution including escalating issues to the solution owner or other stakeholders as appropriate.


Post-secondary education in Information Technology with a focus on architecture and systems design.

Five or more years’ experience as a Configuration/Functional Analyst or a related job function within Microsoft Dynamics 365.  Preference to those with exposure to Finance or Supply Chain modules.

Understanding of Relational Databases and ability to write database queries.

Understanding of Information Technology concepts, standards, procedures, and policies including in-depth knowledge of business processes and information modeling and techniques.

Experience with waterfall and agile scrum project methodologies.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adapt terminology to the target audience.

Effective relationship-building and facilitation skills, and familiarity working with technology staff, business users, external vendors, and stake holders up to and including executive leadership.

Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.

Strong initiative with a results-oriented perspective.

Retail industry background preferred.
