Join our Delivery and Support team as a Truck and Trailer Technician! We’re seeking a motivated individual who is dedicated to maintaining our transport trucks and trailers in excellent condition. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to work with a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you!
Ready to make an impact? Here’s how:
- Perform services and safety on all trucks and trailers as required under the Highway Traffic Act and Home Hardware’s Transportation Policy.
- Follow Preventative Maintenance schedule and services as assigned to ensure maintenance repairs are completed and documented in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act.
- Trouble shoot and inspect trucks and trailers and ensure necessary repairs are completed as scheduled.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), annual safety inspections, quarterly services and repairs as required.
- Perform maintenance shop related duties as assigned, work independently and in group settings.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed according to internal processes.
We’re looking for:
- Truck and Transport Mechanic, Heavy-Duty Mechanic License (Red Seal) or apprenticeship.
- Valid driver’s license and air brakes considered an asset
- CVIP certified considered a strong asset.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Some office programs and computer skills considered an asset
