Orchestrating Seamless Promotions
As a Promotions Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the communication, planning, production, and execution of advertising and promotional programs through all stages from event creation to consumer activation. This role requires a creative and analytical professional who is passionate about developing and implementing new promotional initiatives. Led by the Assistant Manager, Promotions, this opportunity will suit a critical thinker who is well organized with strong time management skills and a strength in collaborating cross functionally.

  • Coordinate communication between the Merchandise teams, Merchandise Services and Marketing departments to ensure all marketing goals are met within the promotional program.
  • Coordinate the promotional event planning and review, space allocation, production, and change management tasks throughout all stages of the promotional build process.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new promotional initiatives; provide suggestions and recommendations for process improvements and promotional growth.
  • Provide complete documentation and creative assets for promotional events including the Connect/Dealer mock-up draft, event layout reports, and flyer grid layouts for the graphic designers capturing all relevant information and direction submitted by the Merchant/Marketing teams.
  • Work directly with the Merchandise teams, Vendors, Graphic Designers and Photography Studio to obtain all information and assets required for production. Copywrite as needed and catalogue all copy and images to the database, ensure database content is accurate and complete.
  • Participate in reviews by Merchandising and Marketing teams using Job Assistant (JA) software. Ensure creative accurately reflects the event submission details.
  • Create annotation reports, verify change requests, resolve any conflicting annotations by working directly with the authors, and communicate the resulting changes to the creative teams in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage the delivery of all files to offsite printers using JA online platform, ensure all content is supplied to standards and is delivered in a timely and organized fashion based on the Production Schedule.
  • Ensure final quality control and pricing accuracy prior to press/digital release.
  • Maintain promotional system data integrity for flyer analysis.
  • Provide detailed information for Internal/Dealer communications regarding promotional activity and changes.
 
We’re looking for:
  • Diploma in Business or Marketing, with two to three years’ experience in understanding consumer behavior in relation to promotional needs and seasonality.
  • Extensive knowledge of HH systems and promotional process, RMS, Oracle, myCataflow, Job Assistant (JA3), Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced knowledge of Excel. 
  • Analytical thinker with a keen understanding of statistical concepts.
  • Ability to work independently, with a willingness to embrace change and contribute to a team environment. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and react quickly in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Disciplined, process-oriented and comfortable making decisions.
  • The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
