JOB DESCRIPTION
This position reports directly to the Senior Sous Chef in the Hogan Campus Center. Perform various duties in preparation to provide meals and catered services for students and guests following established practices and methods. Must follow all recipes, production and service records in compliance with department, sanitation and safety standards. Responsibilities include serving guests and assisting in food production, stocking and rotating product, setting up and cleaning food production and service areas following proper sanitation standards. Responsibilities also include the use of a slicing machine, grill, fryolator, pizza oven, stir fry equipment and/or similar types of equipment. Assist in the set-up, execution and clean-up of catered events as needed. Perform other similar or related duties as required or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in food and catering service preferred. Certification in ServSafe (food safety/sanitation) and experience/training in special food allergy meal preparation preferred. Good customer service and communication skills are needed to provide a welcoming, friendly and professional manner to all our guests. Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and 100 pounds with assistance.
DAYS & HOURS:
Holy Cross Dining staff are considered Emergency Essential Personnel and are required to report during times of inclement weather. Must be flexible. Schedule may change depending on the needs of the department.

TIME COMMITMENT: 40 hours / 52 weeks
