Enrollment Communications and Technical Specialist

Description

The Enrollment Communications and Technical Specialist will join a dynamic enrollment team, working across the offices of Admission, Financial Aid, and the Center for Career Development, in partnership with Marketing and Communications. This individual will coordinate and manage enrollment-related communications for the division to deliver targeted, personalized communications that help meet enrollment goals for recruitment and retention, and further advance the College’s history of enrolling talented classes. This position will also assist with the ongoing development of the Technolutions Slate CRM.
This position reports to the Director of Enrollment Operations. 

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Work collaboratively with points of contact across the Enrollment division to develop communication materials and strategy in keeping with College branding guidelines
  • Serve as project coordinator for all print and digital communications, and be a liaison with the College Marketing and Communications Office
  • Create digital and print content to aid in the recruitment and enrollment process
  • Leverage Slate to deliver targeted, effective communications
  • Help develop necessary Slate tools (events, portals, queries, etc)
  • Help develop the strategy and program plan for student outreach programs, partnering with colleagues on their execution
  • Help manage our comprehensive strategic communications calendar
  • Ensure the website and intranet pages are kept up to date
  • Manage content and deadlines for third-party recruitment platforms 
  • Stay up to date on trends and best practices in enrollment communications
  • Limited travel
  • Some nights and weekends for recruitment events (e.g.: fall and spring Open House)
  • Manage the ZeeMee engagement platform
  • Develop content for and manage presence of social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok)
  • Supervise student communication interns
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • One to two years of experience in marketing and communications, with demonstrated success in designing interactive and engaging content
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and work independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an inter-office, cross-disciplinary team
  • Adaptability and versatility in the face of competing priorities, demands, and deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy

Core Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to establish collaborative working relationships at all levels and across offices
  • Graphic design experience
  • Experience using mail merges and report generation
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred

Additional Information

This is a full time, exempt level position with a salary range of  $50,000-$54,000. The College is committed to providing competitive market pay for its employees.  The College also offers a competitive benefits package for full-time staff, including:
