Our marketing team is responsible for the comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations efforts to propagate and promote HPM’s image, position, and value among audiences and markets. We manage the messaging, campaigns, and responses to external and internal audiences through paid, earned, owned, and shared media.

HPM is looking for a Marketing Director with a strategic mindset, self-initiative, proactive work ethic, communications acumen, working knowledge of current marketing, communications, branding, digital tools and resources, and intuitive skills to make a decisive and significant impact.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Growth Strategy, this new role will sustain and enhance an integrated marketing organization by partnering with business development, program development, operations, project and account teams and executive leadership providing guidance in the areas of strategic marketing planning and direction and management of the marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance the comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations program to strengthen the company’s image and position within the industry and among clients and prospects.
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans and budgets for all marketing activities.
  • Develop and evaluate all advertising and promotional programs and approve all marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain systems and metrics to measure, track and manage marketing effectiveness.
  • Supervise all content marketing strategy including company website, blog, client and internal newsletters, image and video assets and production, and social media platforms to correspond with current product launches, service emphasis campaigns and corporate messaging.
  • Serve as a direct support to the business development team to provide and lead all collateral and sales materials, formal responses to RFPs/RFQs, vendor registrations and qualification statements, tradeshow booths and materials and client interviews/presentations preparation.
  • Strategize with business development for corporate sponsorships and donations, participation in trade shows and conferences/conventions and client entertainment.
  • Oversee and ensure all internal communications clearly articulate consistent messaging and are tied closely to business plans and improvement initiatives, branding efforts and core values to help foster increased employee engagement.
  • Supervise CRM system of records and files on clients, potential clients, projects, and partners and ensures CRM system reporting is accurate and up to date.
  • Strategize and manage the gathering and analyzing of client, competitor, and other market research information to continually identify opportunities, threats and customer purchasing trends and succinctly communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain systems and department metrics that adequately measure, track and manage marketing effectiveness.
  • Identify necessary marketing/communications positions and recruits, selects, manages, trains, and provides direct supervision to all marketing and communications staff. Provides direction, resources, expectations, and coaching. Establishes workload and assignments.
  • Manage and interface with any design, advertising, and public relations agencies to oversee all marketing efforts and campaigns as well as all marketing consultants and freelance marketing support.
  • Oversee and orchestrate all client experience programs including surveys, client journey analyses, letters of recommendation, public relations efforts, project asset management, and client care standards.
  • Execute programs that promote a high public image of HPM through the use of signage, advertising, promotional products and other opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns.
  • 10-15 years of experience in B2B marketing (professional services firm experience a plus).
  • Experience hiring and managing marketing talent.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills and proven ability to manage budgets.
  • Experience with digital lead generation and nurturing, content marketing, tradeshows and conferences, CRM, public relations, and social media marketing.
