Marketing Intern / HPM
Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join the HPM marketing department and provide creative ideas and steadfast support to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing and business development strategies and tactics.
As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.
This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to pursue any fast-paced work environment and/or course of study.
Duties include:
- Assists in assembling and customizing boilerplate information for RFP/RFQ responses
- Assists in photoshoots/headshots
- Develops resumes for new employees and keeps all resumes current
- Helps manage social media accounts and social media calendar
- Helps maintain and add content to website/blog
- Helps write/edit press releases and blog posts
- Aids in the planning and execution of special events/tradeshows
- Maintains list of current status of marketing support jobs/requests
- Helps create presentations and proposals for projects
- Kick-off call organization
- Help pull boilerplate/information
- Help with binding/printing/shipping
- Organize server assets
- Make printer pick-up runs
- Handles business card orders
- Organizes marketing library
- Updates internal website
- Communicate with freelancers/agency on various projects
Requirements:
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Understanding of different marketing techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
