Payroll Analyst
Description
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual budget process for IT and Payroll teams (including project accounting).
- Prepare, review and verify the accuracy of journal entries, accounting transactions and account reconciliations.
- Perform monthly variance analysis in financial position/budget
- Perform activities related to payroll
- Process payroll weekly/biweekly for our operating companies
- Ensure legal compliance of garnishment orders
- Reconcile payroll accounts weekly/monthly
- Address payroll tax related inquiries
- Engage with members across the brands to drive process improvements and recommend action or change
- Support audit compliance
- Perform other duties in support of business operations, as assigned
- Associate's degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with an Accounting/Finance emphasis. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience / internships / related activities (tutor, business fraternity, etc) preferred.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and Excel applications
- Financial software experience in ADP Payroll, Kronos Timekeeping, and Oracle helpful but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication
