What We Need:
What You Will Do:
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve work-in-process issues to minimize production delays and ensure product quality.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for manufacturing process improvements and implement modifications to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Equipment Utilization: Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to maximize utilization and effectiveness.
- Technical Design & Drafting: Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create, modify, and update manufacturing layouts, tooling designs, and process schematics.
- Process Automation: Support the implementation of automated manufacturing solutions, including robotics, PLC programming, and smart manufacturing techniques.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with fellow engineers, production teams, and quality control personnel to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all manufacturing processes align with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
What You Have:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related field).
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (internships and co-ops will be considered).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for manufacturing layouts, tooling design, and process visualization.
- Experience with process automation, including PLC programming, robotics integration, and smart manufacturing technologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve production challenges.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, including:
- RCI (Rapid Continuous Improvement)
- 3P (Production Preparation Process)
- Value Stream Mapping
- Statistical Analysis for process improvement
