- Act as the primary point of contact and facilitate an informative and welcoming showroom experience.
- Drive sales by promoting products and services to customers, offering knowledgeable and personalized product demonstrations.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with influencers in the assigned market to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Engage in local or national industry events to expand and develop networking opportunities.
- Plan, coordinate, and host all showroom events, including scheduling, vendor management, and event setup and cleanup.
- Collaborate with the sales team and leadership to activate the showroom space and develop new opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of quotes, bids, and proposals for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure the showroom is consistently well-organized, visually appealing, and product displays are styled appropriately.
- Monitor and track showroom traffic, provide feedback on customer experience, and make recommendations to reflect customer preferences.
- Represent the face of the brands, welcome guests, create a positive brand experience, drive increased traffic, and elevate utilization of the facility.
- Seek continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures to make the space more functional for customers and sales members.
- Develop relationships with the sales team and local dealer sales representatives. Fulfill requests from customers and sales members for literature and samples.
- Manage onsite literature and product sample libraries and sample chair program for both brands.
- Coordinate and manage projects to ensure all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest quality standards, such as local photoshoots.
- Schedule and manage product installers and Field Service Engineers for product installations in the showroom or local trade shows.
- Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
- Manage ongoing building maintenance and invoices as it relates to the showroom: plant care, cleaning staff, bi-annual HVAC upkeep, general repairs.
- Bachelor's degree: Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- At least two years of experience in a consultative sales role or customer service, preferably in interior design or commercial furniture industry.
- A minimum of three years of industry experience with a focus on customer experience/client relations, event planning, project management, showroom management, hospitality, or facilities management.
- Previous experience with design or showroom management preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence others.
- Demonstrated ability to manage information, schedules, and budgets.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and individually, with internal and external teams.
- Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours as required for successful execution of events and to accommodate varying event schedules and timelines.
