Our HNI Workplace Furnishings team in Muscatine, IA is actively looking for an advanced Maintenance Technician to fill a Weekend shift opportunity.
As part of our team, you’ll dive into a dynamic maintenance technician role where you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs related to production equipment, plant facilities, and environmental systems. Your hard work will be rewarded with competitive compensation, ranging from $32.00 to $34.00 per hour.

What your day looks like:
- Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and any specialized equipment involving:
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Power Transmission, Lubrication, and Pumps
- Instrument/Vision Systems (Repair, Install, and Troubleshoot)
- Piping and plumbing
- Electrical Theory
- Mechanical Operations
- Motors, Automation and Robotics (Maintain and Repair)
Your qualifications:
- Preferably a minimum of 4 years of experience in an industrial or military setting focusing on electro-mechanical maintenance, electrical and power distribution, electronics, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical equipment, motor controls, drives and programmable controllers.
Education and/or Required Training:
- No prior education or training required
- Must successfully meet the benchmark of skill assessment
Requirements:
- Pass pre-employment drug testing
- Pass a 7-year criminal background check
- High school diploma or GED is not required
