Senior Designer
Description
- Create, recommend, and specify projects using custom products within the HNI portfolio.
- Provide consultative selling support to assist field sales and trade partners on product recommendations.
- Host specification training to trade partner dealer designers. Collaborate on agenda and learning content.
- Collaborate with internal teams, trade partners, end users, and design firms on new and custom product designer.
- Assist and review the price book and specification guide creation with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Provide in-person or virtual client consultation, live design sessions, or installation support.
- Lead and implement, processes, perform needs analysis, and assist dealers on design processes and best practices.
- Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
- Associate degree in interior design, architecture, or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in space planning, furniture specification, or product/project management required.
- NCIDQ certification required for associate degree candidates; NCIDQ certification preferred for bachelor's degree candidates.
- Proficiency with CET Designer and/or 2020 preferred.
