Workplace Advisory Director
Description
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of workplace capabilities, content, tools, and collateral to support advisory activities, client engagements, presentations, and internal teams, expanding WPF brand’s thought leadership and market impact.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor evolution, and secular influences to inform solutions, advisory strategies, and content development; translate insights into strategic perspectives, annual content planning, and brand-leading conversations for WPF brands.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with Architects and Designers, develop strategies and points of view that leverage insights to win attention, influence engagement, and inspire advocacy for the aligned brand.
- Organize and align team efforts around Sales’ top opportunities and local market planning strategies to ensure coordinated, effective in-market engagement and execution.
- Partner with Sales, Technical Sales, and Strategic Design teams to provide consultative workplace advisory support for major project opportunities and strategic accounts, including needs analysis, solution development, change management, and decision support to drive wins and retention.
- Facilitate the ongoing development of workplace advising services and strategies that support customers and influencers with ongoing insights, learning, and new processes or tools.
- Actively participate in industry activities and speaking opportunities to build credibility as a subject-matter expert, cultivate a network of field contacts and specialists, and enhance brand visibility and leadership in workplace strategy.
- Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership and review work of assigned members. Conduct performance evaluations and recommend merit increases, promotions, transfers, corrective actions, and other personnel actions. Interview and recommend candidates for employment. Drive member engagement.
- Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, design, architecture, or related field required.
- At least 8 years of consultative, decision-making experience in Workplace Strategy required; 10 years preferred.
- Previous experience in contract furniture and strong understanding of the sales process required.
