What We Need: 
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering Center of Excellence at our Highway 61 facility. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional engineering teams while driving the integration of material flow, information flow, and data systems across operations.
This is an opportunity for an engineering leader who can bridge operations and technology, define a future-state vision, and implement solutions that improve labor performance, efficiency, and overall business outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a systems mindset and help ensure consistency and connectivity across processes, tools, and platforms.
What You Will Do:
  • Provide strategic technical leadership by creating plans, prioritizing work, and managing engineering activities across the facility
  • Lead and develop engineering teams across improvement, integration, and systems-focused workstreams
  • Define and drive the future-state roadmap for systems, data, and operational integration
  • Design and optimize how material flow, information flow, and data systems connect end-to-end
  • Partner with IT and corporate teams on systems architecture, governance, and platform utilization
  • Evaluate and enhance solutions related to MES, IoT, and data systems to improve visibility and performance
  • Identify and implement improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics
  • Support plant-level technical escalations and lead process evaluations, audits, and Gemba walks
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive alignment across teams
What You Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, including leadership experience
  • Proven success driving continuous improvement and operational performance
Preferred:
  • Experience with MES, IoT, or data-driven manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of systems thinking and how operations, data, and technology integrate
  • Background bridging engineering and technical systems (IT, data, or automation exposure)
  • Experience developing future-state roadmaps and driving system/process improvement
