POSITION HIRING FOR: LEVEL 3 PRODUCT SPECIALIST: CREDENZA HANG ON/ TAKE OFF

LOCATION: OAK STEEL

SHIFT: 2ND 


JOB DETAILS

Position Summary: In this position, you will primarily construct, assemble and/or pack out parts or products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow schedules in order to assemble product, while following standard work processes and adhering to all quality standards and safety rules. However in this role minimal-to-no standard work may be available.
  • Maintain a work pace that supports production goals.
  • Must become a product expert and maintain a high level of craftsmanship.
  • Maintain clean work area and follow 6S guidelines.
  • Operating hand tools and/or operating automatic equipment.
  • Member may be required to use a verification system or other software programs as needed.
  • Perform quality checks, routine inspections, and pack out as necessary. High level of personal accountability is tied to the final product.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Perform rework of product or parts as necessary.
  • Will work under minimal supervision and at times minimal direction.
  • Position requires a high level of craftsmanship.
  • Member may be required to train others in Level 3, Level 2, and/or Level 1 roles per the Member Training Program.
  • Member will be expected to maintain flexibility and will occasionally perform other roles in Level 3, Level 2 and Level 1.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.

Work Environment/ Physical Conditions:

  • Dust, fumes and noise are commonplace
  • Seasonal fluctuations in temperatures and humidity are expected
  • Stand and/or work for up to 10-hours per day
  • Lift and carry up to 40lbs on a continuous basis

Experience Needed:

  • HNI experience, skilled technical or manufacturing experience is required.
  • Consistent work history and dependability
  • Proven history of strong work performance

Education and/or Required Training:

  • No prior education or training is required.
