What We Need:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings - Operations team. Responsible for driving critical processes and initiatives across manufacturing support processes. Utilizes leadership skills to develop a strong team of technical experts who ensure processes are completed accurately, identify opportunities, and have a passion for continuous improvement.

What You Will Do:

  • Define major performance objectives/goals and supporting actions/tasks for each objective:
    • Manage, execute and improve the support processes that facilitate achieving the core metrics.
      • Scheduling / Pick sheets / PFEP & Material Flow / Receiving Process
    • Identify opportunities and drive improvements within the support processes to improve the core metrics
    • Align shared resources and connectivity between support function and the factory to develop and improve company strategies
    • Lead team to achieve increasing levels of performance by establishing goals and expectations 
    • Enhance Supply Chain issue-response system to proactively control variation providing best customer experience.
  • Day-to-Day Responsibilities: 
    • Build a team with cross functional training to execute the critical daily requirements
      • Schedules / Pick sheets / Receiving process / Replacement parts
    • Identify and implement member development plans with team members
    • Engage in daily tier meetings to drive improvements within core objectives
    • Improve and optimize material flow processes
    • Drive accuracy and compliance within the facilities plan for every part
Team Structure:
  • Lead a small team of 3-5 hourly support members who:
    • Receive in deliveries
    • Complete replacement parts orders
    • Validate special units comply to manufacturing capabilities
    • Finalize daily schedules and prepare information packets for production
  • This is a small team with critical roles that setup production members for success
