What We Need: 
We are looking for a Credit Analyst 1 to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team.  
  
The Credit Analyst 1 will provide foundational support for financial and administrative services and assist with ongoing efforts to improve processes within the accounting network.  
  
What You Will Do:  
  • Analyze customer financial health to determine credit limits and assess risk while supporting sales initiatives and maximizing order flow.   
  • Conduct phone and email communications with customers to address payment applications and delays along with timely resolution of invoice inquiries and disputes.  
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure positive customer experience.  
  • Manage to individual customer invoicing needs including summary invoicing, automation through methods such as EDI, and data entry into customer systems.  
  • Complete data management including recording customer interactions, addressing cash receipts, and adjusting transactions.  
  • Perform reconciliations and analysis for customers regarding services fees and statement discrepancies.  
  • Review orders for accuracy to purchase orders, generate proforma invoices, and collect deposits.  
  • Create and present portfolio to leadership addressing DSO metrics, AR Aging, and areas of risk. 
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure success of the organization.  
What You Have:  
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.    
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience required; 2 years of experience preferred.
