What We Need:

HNI Workplace Furnishings is seeking a Financial Analyst II – Freight to join our dynamic team in Muscatine, Iowa. In this impactful role, you’ll play a key part in driving financial excellence, enhancing process efficiency, and supporting strategic freight initiatives that strengthen our supply chain and operational success. You’ll help shape smarter, data-driven decisions that directly influence HNI’s continued growth and performance.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver insightful financial reporting and forecasting to support HNI’s freight and distribution teams.
• Lead the implementation of innovative technology tools to advance analytics and streamline finance processes.
• Validate and integrate data across multiple sources, collaborating closely with transportation, finance, and data science partners.
• Support weekly forecasts, accrual analyses, and monthly Policy Deployment reviews—providing actionable insights that drive results and achievement of financial goals.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to uncover trends and opportunities in freight and distribution performance, empowering business partners with meaningful data and recommendations.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field).
• Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.
• 2+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or quantitative analysis—or successful completion of the HNI developmental program.
• Solid understanding of financial analysis, accounting fundamentals, and reporting tools (Excel, OBIEE); Power BI experience preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for collaboration and continuous improvement.
