Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop leads for new business
  • Work with regional offices to identify growth areas and expand business for the region
  • Grow existing client business locally and across countries
  • Lead in business development pitches, assemble pitch team, strategies for proposals and presentations
  • Coach junior team members in business development skills

Strategic Counsel / Advice

  • Offer counsel to clients’ senior management
  • Play an integral role in clients’ crisis or issues management
  • Conduct or assist in media and/or training
  • Play a central role in developing communication plans, recommending direction the client should take
  • Develop and build media relationships
  • Account Management
  • Provide accurate budget estimates using the Hill+Knowlton Estimator for projects and retainer accounts
  • Manage and track all client budgets to prevent over-servicing

Project / Team Management

  • Responsible for overall successful management of projects or retainer accounts
  • Responsible for assembling the “best team” to service a project or retainer
  • Efficient use of budget allocations to ensure profitability of account/project
  • Manage, coach and train junior or new members in the project team
  • Play mentor to newcomers
  • Ensure that all output by team members meet Hill+Knowlton standards, client requirements and deadlines
  • Day-to-day liaison with clients
  • Develop, build and manage client relationships
  • Manage dynamics of your teams
  • Look after professional and emotional welfare of team members
  • Conduct performance appraisals of team members
  • Contributing to the Management of Hill+Knowlton Thailand
  • Contribute actively in the management of the Bangkok office including staff development and training, recruitment and confirmation of new staff, identification of growth areas for PR services etc
  • Support the managing director in charting out business strategies and realizing set business goals
