THE ROLE

We’re looking for fresh energy and perspectives to join the team working at Account Manager level. So if you’re hard-working with a passion for sport, culture and all things media and digital communications, then we’d love to hear from you.

Work is fast paced, varied and challenging, as the team plan and activate campaigns on a global and local level.

The work done by the team takes a story-first approach rooted in PR but often breaks free from traditional barriers of what a PR campaign looks like, with our best-in-class campaigns requiring an understanding of what drives conversation across owned, earned, shared and paid channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES + ATTRIBUTES

Responsibilities will include:

+ As the lynchpin of an account, you’ll be driving projects and campaigns – creating workback schedules, ensuring they are met and acting as the key communicator between team and client

+ Driving the creation of campaign plans and presentations, including global media strategy, creative ideation and editorial messaging

+ Managing outreach to earned media across sports and lifestyle publications, drawing on a bank of contacts and expertise to maximise the impact of our campaigns

+ Having a good working understanding of digital channels and the types of content and tactics that engages audiences across those platforms

+ Leading the drafting and delivery of written tools such as press releases, quotes and briefing documents

+ Work with junior team member to deliver trend and updates to the wider team - monitoring news media and social media for new developments relevant to sports culture

+ Working with junior team members to ensure administrative elements of accounts are up to date (including coverage + industry news monitoring, coverage charts, agendas, status reports, coverage folders, media lists)

+ Having finger on the pulse for new and existing media, creators, influencers and platforms that the team should consider working with

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
+ Previous experience within PR, media or digital marketing
+ A passion for, and strong track record in, creating written tools
+ Detail orientated with ability to project manage multiple campaigns  
+ Strong knowledge of the sports, culture and lifestyle media landscape
+ A strong teamwork ethic
+ Excellent communications skills and strong written ability
+ Proactivity and initiative
+ Strong multi-tasking and prioritising skills
