DE&I Communications Senior Account Manager

 

Looking for a superstar Senior Account Manager with DE&I and CSR expertise to join us in doing award-winning work. Join our H+K team that works hand in hand with Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA’s) to help get ALL Americans vaccinated, progress health equity efforts and support WBA’s efforts to make a positive impact on the world. This role offers access to the in-house client team (in case you ever wondered what it was like to work in-house) and provides an opportunity to communicate about corporate actions that are creating change.

 

Major responsibilities include:

  • Support strategy development and approaches that create relevance, build client reputation and credibility with external stakeholders on WBA’s DE&I story
  • Develop key messages and create communications that support strategy development such as video scripts, emails, infographics, presentations, etc.
  • Use storytelling, visualizations, and other creative communication approaches and channels to engage audiences on WBA’s DE&I commitments and priorities. 
  • Help develop creative engagement opportunities to drive understanding and enthusiasm for WBA’s DE&I priorities.
  • Co-develop key messages and create executive leader communications such as video scripts, emails, infographics, presentations, etc.
  • Support industry and client awards submission process
  • Help advise on DE&I communications issues with the broader communications organization.
  • Identify, inspire, and collaborate with agency creatives to develop compelling content that supports storytelling.
  • Support strategy development grow credibility and thought leadership, and manage social media presence of WBA executives on DE&I issues, including creating posts
  • Support coordination of in-person and virtual communications events (e.g., all-hands meetings, executive video shoots), including logistics.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree 

 

Primary Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of PR agency/in-house experience
  • Proficient in earned media outreach with a growing base of relevant consumer/business media contacts
  • Social media savvy with an understanding of the importance of owned channels as part of an integrated consumer program
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with quality and efficiency  
  • Superior writing skills        
  • Organized, detail oriented, problem solver,
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
