It is an exciting time to join H+K as we continue to develop our specialist services for one of our largest and most high-profile clients, a leading sports and sports culture brand. As its global PR strategy and content partners we are responsible for creating and tool kitting global stories for its performance categories, packaging the brand’s strongest moments and making them truly editorial.     

In an ambition to ensure consistent, best in class storytelling via our written materials, we are looking to appoint an Editorial Director to oversee the creation of our stories and the written tools made to tell them. 

Work will be exciting, broad and challenging and include: 

  • Working as a key part of a driven, ambitious and industry-leading editorial team
  • Responsible for a growing specialism within a fast-paced account
  • Overseeing the development of written tools for 6 key yet varied markets – NYC, LA, Paris, London, Tokyo and Shanghai
  • Helping to establish best in class copy by acting as a guardian of brand copy guidelines for consistency and effectiveness
  • Leading a team of copy editors and brand journalists to ensure guideline deployment across categories and within the London Newsroom team
  • Connecting team + editorial agenda to drive reactive and impactful opportunities for brand storytelling



  • Editorially-minded, creative thinker with ability to turn around brand-true, creative stories linked to editorial agenda
  • Have held a publishing / newsroom / editorial position previously, responsible for turning around best in class written content to the highest standard - delivered at pace
  • Ability to identify a strong story and clearly articulate it in written form
  • Ability to drive strong earned media coverage
  • Strong and persuasive communication and client service skills
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a high performing team
  • Global/Pan-European/regional brand experience ideal
  • Proven track record in creating and leading high-level, high-impact consumer communications campaigns, gained through experience of working with big brands
