As a Senior Creative Strategist, you can interrogate a client’s brief to clearly articulate the objectives and develop clear insights built on data + analytics. You lead research, test ideas, and develop brand and campaign strategies. You are both a leader and a doer. You are an experienced visionary with the responsibility of ensuring that the execution supports the strategy.  You are a highly creative thinker and an influential collaborator.

As a Senior Creative Strategist, you will work in a concurrent way with experts from all vertical sectors and areas of specialist expertise. You will help to develop new ways of working that see content + publishing strategists working alongside film directors, and data analysts working with consultants, all focused on the same client-centric goal.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Interpreting client objectives, research + data analytics, cultural trends and translating them into insights and brand value propositions that inspire clients and colleagues.
  • Serving as a true collaborator, crafting creative briefs for integrated campaigns by working closely across all teams to ensure brand strategy and positioning is right from the start.
  • Advocating H+K’s capabilities with new and existing clients; demonstrating how innovative, channel neutral ideas and experiences, informed by data + strategy, can connect brands with their public better than ever before.
  • Establishing strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support the creative offering.
  • Learn to build on our Always in Beta strategy to drive change in the agency.
  • Demonstrate how creative strategy is a driving force for innovation in our client work and within H+K.
  • Ability to convince and sell big, bold, creative ideas to internal and external stakeholders.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • You have 6+ years proven track record of success brand planning/creative strategy for integrated campaigns within the evolving digital landscape.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple industry sectors, cultures and teams, both internal and external.
  • Ability to understand and interpret research + data analytics to determine key audience insights and develop sound business strategies and smart creative that is informed and aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • A team player, able to collaborate effectively to develop messaging that brings our stories to life, connecting successfully with the target audience.
  • Superb business development skills; able to present to clients and internal stakeholders with charisma and passion; effectively selling in the importance of creative strategy.
