We would like to appoint a Vice President of Research to become an accelerant and further catalyst for development of our Innovation + Creative Hub in NY, being part of the team that turns this in to a leading creative, strategic and innovation center of excellence for our clients & the network.

Vice President, Research

Our VP of Research unique opportunity to blend the disciplines of digital analytics with more traditional research methods and general trend research to equip our teams and clients with fully backed package of insights on the issues, attitudes and trends shaping their industry. The candidate should have excellent writing skills, a solid grasp of statistics and research methods, and devours research trends.

You’ll be:

  • Familiar with agencies or market research firms
  • Expert as using research tools such as GWI, Global LSN, Pew Research (or similar) to answer client briefs
  • Solutions oriented
  • Attention-to-detail obsessive 
  • Fresh thinker who embraces challenges and new methods of working
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Using GWI and similar tools define and execute Audience/Stakeholder mapping to optimize content.
  • Embed recommendation with key learnings from behavioral science team to identify further truths of key audiences.
  • Using commissioned research identify macrolevel trends for brand and sector truths and collaborate closely with Creative Strategy.
  • Guide the proposal, execution, and analysis of multi-phase research projects, including qualitative, quantitative, and digital research methodologies to extract the narrative of the data.
  • Communicate findings from research and act as trusted advisor for both clients and sector teams
  • Identify new opportunities to embed both Data + Analytics work as well as broader set of services provided by the Innovation and Creative team.
  • Leverage custom quantitative and qualitative research and syndicated studies to inform, optimize and evaluate client campaigns as well as new business opportunities.
  • Guide and mentor members of the D+A team and develop best practices.
  • Work closely with SVP of Data + Analytics and VP of Analytics to properly resource and manage team of Data + Analytics staff.
  • Collaborate with SVP of Data + Analytics to identify opportunities to further democratize and operationalize data sources within the organization.
