We are looking for a Recruiter to join our US Talent Acquisition team. This represents an exciting opportunity to own the discovery + recruitment of communications talent for a globally influential agency across different industry sectors including healthcare + pharma, consumer markets, technology, energy + industrials and more.  Our ideal candidate has drive, influence and judgement with an excellent attitude and passion for delivering a best in class candidate experience.  Additionally, you will be well-versed in all aspects of talent acquisition including but not limited to creative candidate sourcing, pipeline/bench development, partnering with internal stakeholders and offer negotiation.


What you’ll be doing:   


  • Discovering/Sourcing/Recruiting candidates against key requirements, sector knowledge, specialist expertise and real-time agency needs 
  • Utilizing tools such as LinkedIn to source passive candidates, build a network and develop a talent pipeline
  • Managing the candidate experience by keeping candidates informed and engaged throughout the process 
  • Engaging with candidates by conducting initial phone screens, telling the H+K story, and then making recommendations on what candidates should move forward in the process 
  • Provides consulting and insights regarding talent landscape with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain a fluid calendar: scheduling intakes, screens, interviews, and following up for feedback 
  • Managing the offer process; reviewing comp/benefits/perks, making + negotiating offers on behalf of Hill + Knowlton  

What you’ve already done:

  • 3+ years in a fast-paced recruiting environment and competitive market
  • 3+ years working directly with hiring teams and internal stakeholders  
  • Experience in using Microsoft Suite and an Applicant Tracking System (ex Jobvite)
  • PR/Communications, Advertising and/or Marketing agency recruiting experience would be beneficial
