We are looking for a Paid Digital Media Strategist, who has experience in both social media and programmatic buying. This could be a fully remote position that will play an integral part in developing our Digital Planning + Optimization (DP+O) team in the U.S.

 Role and Responsibilities 

The ideal Paid Digital Media Strategist has 5+ years of agency experience and has a background in digital buying (programmatic, social media, direct buys). You will work directly with the SVP, Digital Strategy to execute across accounts as well as new business efforts as they arise. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Paid Digital Media Expert (Social, Programmatic, Direct buys): You should have in-depth knowledge in the digital paid media space to be able to develop execute and optimize plans (proactively and reactively). You should be well versed in paid social, direct buy and programmatic using campaign management tools (knowing Basis/Centro is a bonus). You should also be able to provide forecasting and opportunity/gap analysis along with budget recommendations. You'll be our go-to digital expert helping to educate the client team on the latest trends, best practices, technologies, etc. 

  • Analytical Thinker/ Problem Solver: You will be a curious thinker and have extensive experience in critically analyzing data, both historical and current campaign results. You will be able to create and articulate clear performance metrics and develop associated reports that measure KPIs. Based on your findings, you will be able to develop rich insights to optimize plans and learning and ensure continuous improvement 

  • Organized Leader: As a senior digital strategist, you're responsible to ensures strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation. You should be able to stay organized while overseeing multiple accounts and have strong time management skills. Coming up with timelines to develop digital plans and manage expectations on deliverables should all be within your wheelhouse. 
  • Client Management: You'll be interacting with clients and should be able to sell-in digital plans as well as recommendations. You'll have experience in managing tough clients who push back and question the work, ultimately being able to coach them in the right direction or pivot where needed. 
  • Writing and presentation skills: What's a strong paid media plan if no one can understand it? You should be able to consult/educate/negotiate with clients and agency partners and should be able to present comfortably to senior internal teams as well as clients. Extreme attention to detail, an understanding of digital platforms, and paid media insights should all be your bread and butter.
