Hill + Knowlton Strategies is looking for an Influencer Specialist to join our team in Toronto. The successful candidate would join us in working with some of the most well-respected and dynamic brands in Canada.  Our clients come from a range of sectors including consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, retail, and leisure and automotive.

Influencer marketing is a core piece of our business, and we are seeking someone who is as passionate about this world as we are. Most importantly, we want somebody who is bold and creative, who thinks not only about what works today, but what works tomorrow. Candidates must be team players and have “can-do” mindset. They must also live and breathe the world of influencers, social content and online communities. This position will work hand in hand with our Consumer sector and the Content + Publishing team. As an integrated role, teamwork and collaboration will be pivotal in the candidate’s success.


  • Here’s what you’d be doing:
  • Development of influencer plans, working collaboratively with senior team and content leads to build strategies
  • Working with sector account teams to ideate and execute multi-platform influencer programs by leveraging trends and data driven insights to integrate with wider PR objectives
  • Identification, outreach, negotiation, project management and measurement of influencer programs
  • Developing campaign reports by tracking and optimizing organic and paid influencer content
  • Keep on top of emerging social trends, platforms, technologies, and influencers in the Canadian market
  • Carry out social media listening and research to identify trends in online conversations and to pinpoint key influencers
  • Providing an influencer/social perspective on traditional public relations programs i.e. media relations, events.
  • Educates and shares knowledge with teams on trends and best practices
  • What you’ll need to get here:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Influencer, PR, Digital, Content or Brand Marketing
  • Understand insights and metrics from various social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc. Clear understanding of the influencer marketing landscape, the importance and role of influencer marketing and best practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format and build and maintain relationships with key influencers
  • Experience negotiating partnership agreements and existing relationships Canadian influencers is a plus
  • Experience managing influencer programs from start to finish
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
