Production Artist

The Production Artist will be responsible for adapting/managing creative materials from approved design through to implementation, for both print and digital with heavy focus on layouts within dielines for point of sale and packaging. The role will ensure that key in-progress art, libraries, and job workflows are maintained to meet all deadlines. The Production Artist may work with Traffic or Project Managers and act as the direct point of contact to clients and external resources to define the scope of design execution requirements and address potential production-related considerations. 


  • Develop overall layout and production design of print collateral and POS items
  • Execute and manage production of deliverables
  • Identify inconsistencies and inaccuracies with files
  • Partner with Traffic Manager on assigned accounts
  • Make and execute design decisions



  • 3+ years of experience in production design
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree is required in graphic arts, fine arts, or a related field
  • Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite to include InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator on a MAC platform
  • Strong prepress and commercial print experience
  • Experience in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft software to include Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Positive Energy and Attitude
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision and attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed
  • Working knowledge with variable data platforms, such as Chili Publishing, a plus
