Receiving Clerk

Operations Blue Ash, Ohio



The Receiving Clerk is responsible for effectively executing receiving operations for HH Global’s Display Assembly and Pack Out facility located in Blue Ash, OH. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Scheduling In-Bound, Verifying Counts, Visual Inspection, WMS System Entry, Location Assignments, Pallet Tag Creation, and Put Away. Further collaboration with all company staff to meet the needs and expectations of the customers of HH Global.


  • Support all aspects of receiving CPG product and display components.
  • Assist in scheduling inbound carrier delivery appointments and update receiving calendar accordingly.
  • Check in drivers and assign doors upon arrival.
  • Inspect inbound containers following process instructions, cut container seal, and complete review.
  • Validate all counts of materials vs. BOL/packing list.
  • Create and apply WMS pallet load tags.
  • If count verification cannot take place during unloading, mark paperwork “subject to count” and provide count within one business day.
  • Inspect loads for damages.
  • Stamp, sign, and date carrier paperwork accepting inbound load/materials.
  • Post receipt information against appropriate PO line in the system.
  • Document supplier non-compliance issues so that it can be shared for quarterly carrier score carding.
  • Report incoming shipment damage or documentation discrepancies to department Supervisor and Project Coordinator.
  • Demonstrate departmental methods to technical staff in training, as requested by a receiving/shipping lead operator or distribution supervisor.
  • Process returns and answer day to day department questions.
  • Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to a receiving/shipping lead operator or distribution supervisor.
  • Complete month end supplier issue reporting.
  • Informs a receiving/shipping Lead Operator or Bindery and Distribution Supervisor of impending material shortages used in assigned duties.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area, and performs housekeeping duties as assigned by the department Supervisor.


  • 1+ years of experience in a warehouse/shipping environment, utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Microsoft Excel proficient.
  • Able to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods.
  • Able to work during standard business hours, which are generally 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.
  • Occasionally lift or move objects more than 50lbs.
  • Highly punctual and a strong record of attendance.
  • Able to take direction from management and work with limited supervision.
  • Work in a safety-first culture and adhere to all safety regulations at all times.
