MARKETING COORDINATOR

 

 

About the role: The successful candidate will have a true passion for partner and customer success, the ability to build impactful programs, work cross-functionally, and scale key initiatives across the globe and our customer base.  Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with regional and local SMB Marketing to implement scaled Marketing Rewards and Educational programs from launch to completion
  • Launch marketing programs by liaising with legal, localization, regional and local SMB Marketing,
  • Support and maintain existing campaigns and programs with the development and maintenance, including campaign execution, creative and design review, localization and regional scaling
  • Set campaign targets and measure impact
  • Identify new opportunities for improvement & gather feedback on campaign from local markets.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive comms & execution calendar across multiple markets
  • Day-to-day management of retainer agencies and third party vendors
  • Analyze, and optimize marketing campaigns across various media, including direct mail, email, video, search and display advertising
  • Develop pilot program concepts and manage their execution
  • Curate  and create program status presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Write email and website copy
  • Gather and curate program content
  • Regular maintenance of working program documents
  • Ad-hoc projects as needed

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • HTML coding
  • Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills with a high degree of execution excellence and the ability to work on strict timelines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with ext agencies & int teams within the marketing organization
  • Execution focused with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Project management skills is a must, with the ability to collaborate across various teams, and drive decisions quickly
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of experience working in marketing program execution, preferably background in a marketing role at a technology or media company.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization
