The golden age of television is happening now with more content, viewers, and opportunities innovate than every before. Our client is reinventing television viewing and experiences by creating helpful media and entertainment products that aid users in discovering and enjoying content – like TV shows, movies, and live events – while addressing the dynamic nature of households, families, and opportunities in the living room.

As a Program Manager, help structure and guide programs for our client’s UX team. In concert with key stakeholders, create clarity in program objectives, timelines, and risks. Manage the feature lifecycle development for TV UX working alongside UX, Research, Product, and Engineering. Foster an environment of open collaboration and develop plans to track UX deliverables.

This role involves understanding of the gated-process, coordination of the workflows, artifacts, and stages in partnership with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and requires the ability to evaluate horizontal needs and communicate tactfully. This role requires expert juggling skills and the flexibility to balance multiple unrelated projects that can often span multiple quarters and continents.


  • Own and manage UX operations, including tracking and trafficking of deliverables.
  • Manage UC workflows across a team of designers distributed across multiple time zones and regions.
  • Participate in weekly standups with the UX team; track feature development; coordinate reviews with Product & Engineering.
  • Calendar meetings and follow ups with teammates as and when required.
  • Report to UX & Merchandising Program Manager consistently on progress, issues, and overall performance of the operations.
  • Champion process and tooling enhancements to ensure operations can scale efficiently as platforms evolve.
  • This product area is scaling rapidly. Support new products, programs, or features with artwork, and collaborate with core UX teams and Merchandising. Define processes, set stakeholder expectations (SLAs), and assess volume/resourcing impacts.
  • Develop and drive overall operational cadence for the team, increasing the team’s efficiency and impact.
  • Create detailed program plans, success metrics, risks, timelines, and resourcing needs.
  • Think strategically about UX project management, forecasting for shifts in resources and direction with a focus on solutions.
  • Provide clear communication to cross-functional team leads and report into UX & Merchandising Program Manager regarding project status, resource requirements, issues, and priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to amplify the impact of the team’s research and drive connections to enable knowledge-sharing within the client’s global UX communities.


  • 6+ years of professional experience as a program manager, project manager, or producer.
  • 4+ years of experience leading project delivery for large, cross functional projects.
  • 4+ years’ experience working with design agencies or design teams within larger companies.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in Program Management on design projects.
  • Experience with managing user interface design, user research, video production, platform design, or speculative design processes.
  • Experience with UX design and research disciplines, tools, and processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of user-centered design process, user research, and product development process.  
  • Thrives when challenged with vague/undefined program/project scope and is scrappy, creative, and strategic when proposing solutions for both strategic programs and operational initiatives.  
  • Demonstrated process improvement experience and accomplishments.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.  
  • A strong sense of focus and excellent attention to detail while working in a very fast-paced, changing environment.  
  • Experience with consumer electronic product development.  
  • Experience working with GSuite.  
  • Experience in the media and entertainment or gaming industry.  
  • Experience with agile software development.  
  • Experience with voice or multimodal speech interfaces.  
  • Experience in a customer-centric, insights-driven design environment.  
  • An informed set of core values regarding user experience, technology, and business communication and the ability to present with eloquence and precision.
