BRANDED MERCHANDISE CREATIVE DESIGNER

We are currently looking for an experience Creative Designer to join our team. Reporting to the Account Manager, the Branded Merchandise Creative Designer is responsible for developing innovation for branded merchandise, PowerPoint presentations and creating studio quality digital images for use in branded content.

They will specialize in promotional products and branded merchandise and be responsible for the development of innovative and client-facing product presentations. The designer will be creating innovative branded merchandise communication collateral, brochures, leaflets, presentations documents and digital assets to be used by our client brands on social media platforms and e-commerce.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute advanced, effective, dynamic and well thought out presentations efficiently to meet the client’s needs and brand style.
  • Support multiple stakeholders on a direct 1:1 basis while maintaining a high level of detail in design.
  • Clearly articulate and present creative ideas/treatments to teams and clients.
  • Design, produce and update presentations and occasional one sheet summaries for our client.
  • Analyze client’s brands to provide insights and strategic recommendations for optimizing merchandising initiatives.
  • Assist with developing promotional calendar and develop creative solutions for clients’ merchandise needs.
  • Understand and stay on top of current trends impacting branded merchandise and promotional products.
  • Create vendor relationships, research new and innovative vendors and make recommendations to client account teams based on knowledge of client’s brand and marketing collateral needs.
  • Work as a team with sales, creative services, account teams and vendors.
  • Collaborate with Account teams to ensure the Merchandise team is producing high quality service and products for the client.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience preferred with work samples (online portfolio).
  • 2+ years of Photoshop and InDesign experience
  • Expert skills with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and Adobe After Effects (video and motion graphics) skills a plus.
  • Able to utilize design capabilities to aid in creation of design materials and assets relevant or necessary for use in decks.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and competing deadlines, maintaining a flexible schedule as needed to meet tight deadlines.
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly read and understand content in order to create a more visual representation of sometimes dense information and data-heavy slides.
  • Well-practiced in visual hierarchy to simplify and communicate information and data effectively, as well as the creation of easy-to-understand charts, graphs and diagrams.
  • Able to rethink and transform complex, busy designs into strategic and easy to understand layouts.
  • Capable of storytelling to help clients reach and engage target audiences.
  • Passionate about your work, motivated and capable of creating fresh new design ideas and innovative concepts.
  • Self-starter. Able to manage your own projects while working under tight deadlines.
  • Extremely detail oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment simultaneously contributing to multiple projects each with aggressive development schedules.
