Replacement Parts Inventory Specialist

Job Description Summary

 The Inventory Manager must be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and work well with and communicate effectively with Account and production teams, as well as with management. They should be extremely organized and document and manage all details of projects including budgets.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and delivery of the replacement parts request.
  • Ability to confirm and identify inventory needs, challenges, and opportunities to develop viable solutions.
  • Works with the appropriate departments to craft the project plan and scope of work for the specific project.
  • Flexible hours are required to accommodate customer needs.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Documents and creates any change requests required whether they arrive by request of the customer management.
  • An inventory log must be maintained to document requests.
  • Initiates contact and works with internal team/customer to develop the proper timeframe. Sets proper expectation with the AM for the beginning and end date/times of a project.
  • Properly notifies management staff of any pending or current escalations relating to the project or items that could impact the success of the project.
  • Ability to act under pressure to develop critical paths for projects.
  • Communicate production information to Account Managers.
  • Analyze project –wrap up meetings.
  • Coordinate daily project activities.
  • Maintain quality of product to client expectation.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area.
  • Reports to Account Director.
