ACCOUNT MANAGER

The Account Manager will be responsible for the daily interactions with the client, especially establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with key peers on the client team. This person will oversee operations, procurement, production, and execution of the client’s strategy and projects and have direct accountability for the current client spend financial and operational performance. The role will be focused on continually driving down costs, increasing margins, and identifying new production opportunities for the client. The role will be focused on retaining customers and nurturing key relationships, ensuring the team is delivering beyond the client’s expectation and achieving the financial results of the account.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Accountable for customer satisfaction with a high level of potential impact.
  • Responsible for being the voice of customer to support renewals, new deals and expansion opportunities
  • Act as a vital link between the client, production team, and suppliers to ensure all terms of the contract and engagement are delivered flawlessly
  • Owns the Customer Relationship with a proactive approach
  • Understand customer’s goals, strategy, portfolio of products, and the value that they recognize from HHG.
  • Responsible for driving continual improvements within the organization, helping to move toward greater account development and customer satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, becoming a trusted partner and consultant, helping on customer retention and loyalty

Produce quarterly and yearly analysis to present Quarterly Business Reviews to the client and HHG management

  • Train, mentor, and develop Senior Production Manager(s), Coordinators and Executives
  • Define the accounts yearly budget and strategy
  • Proactively negotiate with new and existing suppliers to drive down costs and deliver process efficiencies
  • Collect, review, and organize job requirements to provide strategic guidance for the production team
  • Train, mentor, and work closely with Senior Production Manager(s), Production Manager(s), and Production Coordinator(s)

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Experience working with customer facing role and ability to meet the customers’ needs in line with the business requirements.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Personal - to accept feedback and develop self-awareness. Navigate relationships openly and honestly, sharing knowledge and information to directly benefit or support others.
  • Self-driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic and with a “can do” attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams (E.g.: Account, Contract, Procurement, Finance, etc.)
  • Flexible approach, able to operate effectively with uncertainty and change
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, work in a team environment, and solve problems creatively and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and extensive ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to monitor data, analyze reports and leverage results.
  • Able to analyze and improve current job processes/protocols and anticipate/manage change in a quickly moving global business environment.
  • Proven project management skills
  • Procurement and/or marketing experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese are a must. Spanish is a plus
  • Highly proficient with MS Office 365 software, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface with senior level professionals
  • Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed
  • Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments
