Marketing Copywriter

As our client’s Marketing organization continues to grow, we’re looking for a Copywriter to join the writing team within the Creative Department. The creative team drives, supports, and designs product and program identities, builds marketing campaigns, and creates product launch assets across client devices and services.

Our ideal candidate is a mid-level writer who can work nimbly on a range of projects and think strategically. You’ll work closely with clients, designers, producers, product marketing, editing, and legal to develop concepts and copy that are simple, engaging, thoughtful, and delightful. On any given day, you could be working on manifesto copy, collaborating on retail signage, doing some internal brand building, developing product messaging for packaging, or writing long-form editorial copy, among other things.

This role will primarily focus on retail marketing, but there will be plenty of opportunities to work on other projects and new initiatives. 



  • You’re a creative thinker who is passionate about communication, branding, and writing
  • You can internalize a brand voice and positioning and find novel and effective ways to express it to different audiences
  • You live and breathe technology and understand the nuanced craft of humanizing it through storytelling
  • You understand the challenges of scaling creative across channels and are comfortable adapting concepts to shifting contexts, mediums, and devices
  • You pay attention to the details, but also have the ability to zoom out and understand the broader context of a project
  • You are open to multiple sources of feedback, can effectively interpret and accept it, and are flexible with changing requirements


  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a consumer brand, agency, studio, or startup
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and plan and execute resourcefully
  • Extraordinary skills writing headlines and body copy
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration across disciplines and an ability to take ownership of work 
  • Experience working collaboratively with designers and other copywriters


  • Experienced in the full range of media, including digital screens (desktop and mobile), display ads, emails, video scripts, social, print, promotional offers, etc.
  • Geeking on new technology products
  • Gaming experience also preferred
