RETAIL MARKETING MANAGER

As a Retail Marketing Manager supporting our client’s telecommunications sector, you’ll manage key projects with Retail partners to help increase their presence and scale across various Retail channels.

You will be responsible for developing and executing channel strategy and merchandising plans directly with Retail partners and in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Business Development. You will help manage all retail consumer touchpoints, including product pages and training materials, and brief and project manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and associated creative assets that are driven by consumer insights and drive business impact.

This role will be both internal and external facing and requires strong relationship and project management, communication, and organizational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute channel and partner marketing programs, including promotions and new launches, while also managing marketing agencies for any related campaigns.
  • Identify, measure, track and report on key success metrics to ensure alignment to product and business goals. 
  • Work closely with BD and Ops to build and implement plans for priority retail partners.
  • Manage any necessary creative asset development by writing briefs, hitting key approval milestones and ensuring deliverables are finalized within set timelines.
  • Ensure that agreed partner media and retail marketing and merchandising opportunities are executed to support new product and program launches and kept updated  with brand and product changes. 
  • Act as a voice of authority and key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on assigned projects and deliverables. 
  • Maintain internal partner marketing hub and other content management systems, ensuring content is kept up to date.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years in partner / retail marketing, preferably with experience in the Telecom category.
  • Demonstrated thought-leadership and relationship building / management with internal stakeholders and external partners/agencies and proven influencing skills.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns with extreme attention to detail while also keeping in mind broader strategy/goals. 
  • Experience managing complex and fluid projects, problem solving and proactively navigating ambiguity.
  • Experience creating and managing Google Docs, Slides and Sheets for all projects.
