What You’ll Do:

The Director of Partner Programs will be responsible for working with global partner sales leadership and appropriate cross-departmental contributors to envision, design and fine tune HelpSystem’s global partner program. This will also include working with global leads on their channel partner strategy and assisting in improving the effectiveness of the overall partner channel through metrics and process improvements:

  • Reporting
    • Evaluate current reporting options, work with partner managers to ensure they have the tools to monitor the effectiveness of their partners
    • Develop standard reporting that can be shared globally to channel partner leaders so they can manage/measure their business more effectively
    • Provide process framework, visibility, measurement, and analysis to make informed business decisions and drive successful results and outcomes
  • Partner Program Strategy Design
    • Own partner program design, implementation and roadmap
      • Ensure program benefits / requirements are clearly defined and are industry competitive
      • Evaluate current partner discounts and adjust as needed
      • Includes specific views from tiered resellers and strategic partners (OEM, MSPs)
    • Work with partner marketing to ensure all program documentation is up to date, evaluate marketing effectiveness and create collateral to help enable, recruit and grow the partner network
    • Ensure alignment of program with HelpSystem’s go-to-market plan
    • Review and ensure budget dollars are spent for maximum impact
  • Partner and Distribution Strategy
    • Work with GMs and Partner Managers to ensure that we have the correct set of focus on partners based on metrics and partner loyalty
    • Continuously evaluate HelpSystem’s channel business and adjust as needed to stay competitive and grow the business
    • Actively seek out feedback from Partner Managers around programs needed for partners to be successful and coordinate with internal teams to action plan
  • Partner Operations
    • Review internal processes for deal registration, marketing, compensation and benefits to promote changes necessary to optimize interactions with partners
    • Evaluate / change / update all processes with regards to:
      • Partner onboarding
      • Case management
      • Legal contracts
      • Compliancy
      • Other ease of doing business improvements
  • Enablement
    • Design, develop and launch training program for partners
    • Evaluate current sales offerings for partners. Work with enablement team to update as needed
  • Communication
    • Develop and execute communication strategy/plan for raising and maintaining strong internal awareness of the partner program, progress, success stories etc. both with the management team and the wider organization

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Operations, Partner Management, Incentives, Finance, or Program Management
  • Have the ability to work independently on a wide variety of tasks
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Clear track record of delivering innovative global incentive program (reseller, referral, distribution, etc.) initiatives at scale
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills required
  • Proven experience managing teams and processes to deliver efficient output and results
