This Opportunity 

 

Our Luxembourg office is seeking a Finance Associate in Financial Operations & Analysis.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare, review, analyze and interpret accounting records, financial statements, footnotes or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
  • Prepare/review monthly, quarterly and annual reports for investment properties including financial information, performance returns, property operations and variance analysis
  • Calculate and review various performance returns and provide comparisons to benchmarks
  • Assist asset management team with compilation and analysis for investment budgets and business plans
  • Assist in annual audit process and respond to auditor queries
  • Assist in preparation of cash analysis for investment properties and fund vehicles
  • Complete ad hoc portfolio and client analysis and requests
  • Manage the external service providers to ensure timelines and quality of the deliverables
  • Manage monthly/quarterly/annual tax compliance filings prepared by the tax firms.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 4 years of real estate/private equity accounting/auditing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and organization skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
  • Understanding of the Luxembourg investment fund industry
  • Fluent in English written and spoken
  • Proficiency in Excel
