This position will require you to live in the Atlanta area for one year during training and then relocate to the Chicago area.

The ideal candidate is candidate interested in a three-year training program for entry-level technicians, focused on operating and instructing on Heidelberg printing press equipment. A successful completion would result in securing a functional field service representative position with Heidelberg and acquiring a unique skillset in the Global Print Technology industry.


Primary Duties are as follows:


  • Responsible for grasping the concepts and theories related to print technology and processes taught in an operational environment
  • Working with and assisting Field Service Personnel during the installation and instruction of Heidelberg equipment, both in the field and in Heidelberg facilities
  • Provide exemplary Customer service: Expected to understand the customer’s need to keep their equipment productive and explain what will be required to restore their equipment to operation
  • Most service work is performed at the customer’s site so regular attendance and timeliness is expected. There may be times that overtime, or weekend work will be a critical function for success


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Press experience in using Heidelberg machinery


Critical Skills:


  • Travel up to 100% after Heidelberg’s program
  • Capable to perform based on company and customers expectations
