Financial Analyst
Description
- Perform monthly close tasks and assist with the annual sales compensation process.
- Review monthly general ledger and submit journal entries.
- Prepare Expenditure Authorizations (EA’s) for business unit initiatives evaluating overall internal rate of return, net present value, and profitability.
- Evaluate financial effectiveness of programs and promotions.
- Assist in monthly P&L reviews for the assigned business unit.
- Prepare the quarterly and annual budgeting for business unit expenses.
- Prepare financial models to evaluate business opportunities.
- Manage, organize, and update internal sales process data and third party market data used to support business unit performance and decisions.
- Leverage business applications such as Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, OneStream, and Salesforce to analyze and present data effectively.
- Create dashboards and performance reports that integrate internal and external data to support growth initiatives.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, providing data and analysis to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Demonstrated curiosity and a continuous learning mindset.

- Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities with a track record of driving strategic outcomes.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment while managing project deadlines and competing priorities effectively.

- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and implementing corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0 - 2 years of financial experience including accounting principles and standards and financial reporting & analysis; internship experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
- Manufacturing industry experience a plus
