Mold Technician 1st Shift
Description
- Starting Pay: $16.50 per hour
- Location: Mt. Pleasant, IA
- 1st Shift Details: 6:00 AM – 4:20 PM (Core Hours)
- Monday – Thursday
- OT as needed
- Full Time / Direct Hire
- Paid Time Off: 128 hours (prorated from start date)

- $10,000 Adoption / Surrogacy Reimbursement - Eligible after 1 year of service
- Select proper molds and forms for log and refractory production
- Mix and maintain materials in forming tanks and mixers
- Remove formed parts from molds and trim excess material
- Dye, paint, and highlight logs to achieve a natural wood appearance
- Perform quality checks using gauges and reference samples
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain paint systems and equipment
- Clean machines, molds, and work areas daily
- Support mold setup, changeovers, and repairs
- Perform packaging and sub-assembly tasks as needed
- Maintain steady production flow and meet takt time requirements
- Rotate to other production areas when needed
- Complete safety, quality, and production documentation
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
