Position Details
  • Location: 352 Mountain House Rd, Halifax, PA  
  • Starting Pay: $28.55/hour  
  • Shift Details: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (core hours)
    • Monday - Thursday
    • Overtime as needed  
  • Seasonal Term: January through June (with potential to extend)  
  
Hearth & Home Technologies in Halifax, PA, is seeking a Seasonal Temporary CDL Driver to support our operations during our peak season. This role plays a key part in keeping our materials moving safely and efficiently between our Halifax plant and our warehouse in Tower City, PA — an approximately 35‑minute route each way.

Duties Include 
  • Safely operate a CDL truck for daily pick‑up and delivery of materials between Halifax and Tower City
  • Maintain the truck and follow the regular vehicle maintenance schedule
  • Complete all required paperwork in compliance with company standards, OSHA, and state/federal regulations
  • Represent Hearth & Home Technologies with professionalism, courtesy, and responsibility when interacting with suppliers
  • Inspect the trailer before and after each trip and report any defects or concerns.
  • Follow all company rules, regulations, and safety practices, including JSA, LOTO, Certified Safe Member, and 5S procedures
  • Demonstrate reliability and consistent attendance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Valid CDL license
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, palletjack)
  • Dependable, responsible, and punctual work habits
  • Willingness to follow established processes and safety protocols
