Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a Production Manager to join our Fireplaces Business Unit in Mt. Pleasant, IA. We are the nation’s leading manufacturer and supplier of hearth products, including a wide variety of gas, electric, wood and pellet burning fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and accessories. The Fireplaces Business Unit is one of our key business units within Hearth & Home Technologies, featuring leading brands such as Heat & Glo, Majestic, Heatilator, and more. This business unit is dedicated to advancing fireplace technology and design, reflecting our commitment to exceptional quality and comfort. 

Our Production Managers are responsible for leading and developing teams to drive improvements in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) around safety, quality, delivery, and cost.    
  
Key Responsibilities 
  • Map and understand current state material and information flow to create a bridge plan to drive improvement
  • Facilitate RCI culture change with respect to beliefs, behaviors, and processes (teaching lean tools, focusing on developing/improving processes for sustainable results, fostering a spirit of innovation and creativity, etc.)
  • Engage and develop team members leveraging HHT Talent Management tools and processes
  • Focus on improving front line leaders’ soft skills to drive relationships that retain members and drive business results
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing setting
  • 3-5 years of proven leadership experience in Manufacturing
  • Track record of continuous improvement/LEAN Mfg.
 
Preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or others or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish
  • Experience managing multiple shifts is a plus
