Seasonal CNC Laser Operator - 3rd shift
Description
- Operating lasers to cut metal.
- Complete required machine set up which includes multiple tool and die changes as required by change in model mix.
- Load/unload machine and manufacture programmed parts including the disassembly and assembly of machined parts.
- Utilize required tools (i.e. caliper, micrometers, tape measures, gauges, protractors) to adhere to all quality standards by producing products which align with the print specifications
- Take responsibility for the quality of all parts by inspecting and immediately reporting any problems, discrepancies/or irregularities to the supervisor.
- Completes quality and safety checks, procedures, and documentation.
- Performs operator equipment preventative maintenance as directed.
- Ability to lift 20–50 lbs. occasionally
- Comfortable standing for long periods
- Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, decimals), reading and writing
- Blueprint certified with usage of measuring tools, calibers
- Proven mechanical aptitude
