Manufacturing Material Manager
Description
- Develop, implement, and drive plant related procurement strategies and services
- Partner with Corporate Procurement in the development and execution of HHT strategic objectives
- Participate and support in supplier evaluations and selection processes including strategic sourcing initiatives
- Provide adequate and timely communication to suppliers and internal customers to ensure flow of parts and information
- Demonstrated Lean / BPI experience to provide enterprise-wide continuous improvement direction in materials and procurement
- Lead plant material flow transformation
- Four-year degree in Business Administration, engineering, economics, applied sciences or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA preferred
- 5-10 years or more of progressively responsible procurement or production management
- Sourcing, kanban, JIT and other inventory management experience
- A proven record of implementing and sustaining ERP, Lean Manufacturing productivity, cost reduction and other continuous improvement programs
- Professional Certification preferred
- Experience in lean material flow conversion and sustainability preferred
